How does it recognise the ingredients?
The AI looks at the photo and lists the ingredients it sees — like a cook peering into the fridge. You get an ingredient list you can review, correct and add to before asking for dinner ideas.
Uncertain findings that matter to the recipe may need confirming. Confirm the findings Smaklig flags — it takes a second, and you have the final say.
Do I need everything in the picture?
No. Photograph what determines dinner. You can add ingredients manually and take more pictures of the fridge or pantry. The suggestions distinguish between ingredients from the photo, assumed staples and things that are missing.
The clearer the photo, the better the suggestions — but a quick photo in fridge light is plenty.
Are the recipes adapted to me?
Yes — your profile and equipment inform them. The suggestions take your settings into account. Allergy matches are shown as warnings, but recipes aren't automatically removed on a match.
AI suggestions can miss things. If you have an allergy, always check the ingredients yourself before cooking.
