Ingredients
2 servings
- 2.5 dlplain flour
- 6 dlmilk (3%)
- 3 steggs
- 2 mskbutter
- 0.5 tsksalt
How to make it
- 1
Measure the plain flour and salt into a bowl.
- 2
Add half the milk and whisk to a completely smooth, lump-free batter.
- 3
Pour in the rest of the milk and crack in the eggs. Whisk well.
- 4
Melt 1 tbsp butter and stir it into the batter. Leave the batter to rest for about 10 minutes.
- 5
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat with a little butter.
- 6
Pour a thin layer of batter into the pan and tilt it so the batter covers the whole base.
- 7
Cook until the top has set and the underside is nicely golden (about 1-2 minutes). Flip and cook for another 1 minute.
- 8
Repeat until all the batter is used and serve straight away.
Kitchen tips
- Rest the batter for at least 10 minutes to stop the pancakes tearing when you flip them.
- Use a well-seasoned cast-iron pan or a non-stick pan for the best results.
